On the final day of the Trojan Classic, the Trojans had no losses, Belmont had no wins and Briana Bailey tossed a no-hitter in her first career start for the Trojan Softball team.

Bailey struck out six batters and allowed just two walks combining her unhittable pitching with adequate run support by the offense.

The Trojans only needed five innings to shut down the Bruins eight to nothing notching a 4-0 start to the season.

“She has a lot of experience but to be able to come in and have her first TROY debut and it be a no-hitter,” says Head Coach Beth Mullins. “She was solid, I mean it was from inning number one to inning number five.”
