Troy University fraternity starts their Spring Break walk to Panama City.

Brothers from Troy University’s Alpha Tau Omega fraternity took the first steps on a 128 mile journey on Friday morning in an effort to raise funds for wounded veterans.

The annual “Walk Hard” fundraiser is designed to raise money and awareness for Jeep Sullivan’s Outdoor Adventures.

Sullivan takes wounded veterans on outdoor excursions and the money raised by Alpha Tau Omega helps Sullivan with his efforts.

The group left from the John Lewis Quad on Friday morning and will end up in Panama City Beach on Wednesday.

They raise funds throughout the walk through the Walk Hard website at walkhard.info.

“Every year we’re walking for wounded warriors through Jeep Sullivan’s Outdoor Adventures,” says Walk Hard Director Josh Marvin. “We raise money so that he can take them on hunting and fishing trips and share the gospel with these veterans and get them out of really dark places.”
