The SGA Senate holds their last meeting of the school year.

Troy University’s Student Government Association Senate met for the last time this school year Tuesday night.

The SGA is starting its transition to a new administration with the election of a new slate of officers and senators.

The new officers and Senate will assume their roles next school year.

As the school year winds down current SGA President Nicole Jayjohn reflects on the past year and what it meant to her.

“I’m definitely going to miss it and miss all the senators and relationships that I’ve formed and just relationships that I’ll carry on throughout my life after this,” says Jayjohn. “All the lessons that it’s taught me, the life values I’ve learned and gained so much from SGA. It’s going to be a bittersweet moment but I’m excited for the new exec.”

The new executive officers will be inaugurated on April 20th.
