Troy University‘s Black Student Union offered students an opportunity pick up school supplies for the start of the semester free of charge.
“We’re giving out school supplies making sure everybody has what they need for class whether that be a pen a notebook whatever that may be so they need it we got it,” says Black Student Union President Julian Bronaugh.
In addition to handing out school supplies, the BSU were letting students know about their upcoming interest meeting so they can become a part of the organization.
Bronaugh says his participation in the BSU has helped him in his time at TROY.
“I’ve learned how to be a better leader and I’ve learned how to incorporate everybody into everything on campus,” says Bronaugh.
The interest meeting for the Black Student Union will be Thursday, August 26th at 5:30pm in Patterson Hall room 105.
