Love and music were in the air last night as Troy University‘s Frequency Vocal Jazz Ensemble gave the gift of song to local residents for Valentine’s day.
Frequency and the Johnson Center for the Arts partnered together to take an evening of love and fill it with song with a Valentine’s Cabaret: An Evening of Love Songs as Frequency put on a show centered around love in The Studio in downtown Troy.
In addition to the Valentine’s Day theme, this concert marked a milestone for the ensemble.
“It meant a lot to me just because this is the first unmasked live performance that we’ve done in a while,” says Frequency Member Kalen Kennedy. “So just to get back in my element and our element and perform was very fun.”
