TROY, Ala. (TROJANVISION) — Troy vs Texas State was simulated by College Football 25, and the results may give the Trojans a fair shot.
The simulation started with Texas State going up 14-0 early in the first. However, Troy’s defense limited the Bobcats to only six points after that.
The only problem Troy could only score 6 as well. By the end of the game, the Trojans would fall to Texas State 20-6 at home.
Player of the Game went to Texas State wide receiver Kole Wilson. He saw 129 receiving yards and one touchdown. That touchdown was the first play of the game, which went for 88 yards.
The turnover margin was tied at one, with Troy fumbling on their first offensive drive, and Texas State throwing an interception near the end of the first half.
A positive twist on this, Troy’s real-life team has done the complete opposite the simulations have predicted. The last time Troy was predicted to lose was Florida A&M, which is currently the Trojans’ only win of the season in real life.
