TROY, Ala. (TROJANVISION) — Troy vs South Alabama is set to play in real life soon, but what happens when we simulate the Battle for the Belt virtually?
According to EA Sports College Football 25, the Jaguars of South Alabama will win in a close game, 17-14.
Troy got up early, with two touchdowns in the first half to lead the game 14-0. South Alabama could only muster three points, as the Trojan defense played stiff the first half.

14 more points would be scored in the second half, but it was all by the Jaguars, including a game-winning field goal to end the game.
Player of the Game went to Gio Lopez, who threw the only touchdown for South Alabama. Goose Crowder also had a touchdown pass of his own, but saw a costly interception late in the game.
This was a virtual simulation, of course. Troy and South Alabama will soon play in real life, and, hopefully, the Trojans will stay the reigning, defending, undisputed Battle for the Belt Champions.
Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. inside Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile.
