TROY, Ala. (TROJANVISION) — Downtown Troy hosted the Fall and Holiday Market on the town square Saturday.

During the event, locals got to meet and buy from local businesses across Troy and the Wiregrass area. One owner talked about the types of opportunities that come from markets like this.

“Meet other people, meeting other people that are associated with other opportunities,” said Railyn K., CEO of A Rai of Sunshine. “I love being in Troy at this event, and I feel like every time we come here, it’s always an opportunity for my business.”

For other business owners, the event gave them an opportunity to interact with the community in a different setting.

“It’s nice to be able, be in the community, being able to visit with the people that come through,” said Tammy Childs with TBL Crafts. “We always enjoy being in Troy. It’s good for the business, it’s good for getting out and visit with your neighbors.”
