Students ‘fall’ into the autumnal season

Troy, Ala. (TROJANVISION) — The autumn season has fallen upon us, and many students are excited,

Sept. 22 marked the beginning of the Fall Equinox. Many students are excited for cool weather, fall attire and beautiful colors that come with the season.

“I really love fall colors, like the leaves changing and the weather, like it being cold outside,” said student Mary Margaret Wash. “Like the cute outfits that come with.”

“I really like the weather and just like the outfits you can wear during Fall that you just can’t wear other times of the year,” said student Brogan Vongkasemsiri.

Some students have had enough of the summer and are ready for the change.

“It’s been enough summer, like it is time to be cold and be Fall,” Wash said.

The Fall season also ushers in many activities and events student love to go to.

“I look forward to like with my friends going to like coffee shops and trying out the new fall seasonal drinks,” said student Hattie Massey. “Then also like maybe a pumpkin patch.”

So grab your comfy sweater and enjoy the beautiful season!

“I can’t wait to wear cozy clothes and I don’t know, just the smell of pumpkin spice,” Massey said. “Oh, [I] can’t wait for that.”

The first day of winter in the Northern Hemisphere is marked by the winter solstice, which will happen on Sunday, Dec. 21, according to The Old Farmer’s Almanac.
