TROY, Ala. (TROJANVISION) — Students’ work is taking the spotlight inside Troy University’s International Arts Center (IAC).
Usually in the Huo Bao Zhu gallery at Troy’s International Arts Center, resident or professional artists tend to get displayed. At the end of every fall and spring semester, however, students get the spotlight.
The exhibition shows each student’s unique form of expression, ranging from product design to research projects.
Each project is accompanied by a short description of the exhibit and information regarding the student’s work.
“I think it’s extremely valuable for us and for them [the students],” said Director and Curator of the IAC Carrie Jaxon. “We want to show the talent that our students have and this is a wonderful place to have their art on display in a professional setting with wonderful lighting and space setup.
“It changes how you view artwork once it’s in a professional setting.
The exhibits will be on display until Aug. 23.
