Here’s what’s open on Troy University’s campus this summer

 

TROY, Ala. (TROJANVISION) — Although the majority of Troy University’s students have left for the summer break, many university facilities remain open.

Despite having less people on campus, it is business as usual at Troy University. From dining options to campus recreation, many campus facilities will continue their daily operations.

Troy Dining

  • Faculty & Staff Dining (May 26-July 24)
    • Monday-Thursday
    • 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
  • Einstein Bros. Bagels (May 18-July 24)
    • Monday-Friday
    • 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Boar’s Head (May 25-July 22)
    • Monday-Friday
    • 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Trojan Dining Hall (May 24-July 24)
    • Monday-Friday
      • Breakfast: 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
      • Lunch: 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
      • Dinner: 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
    • Saturday-Sunday
      • Brunch 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
      • Dinner: 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Campus Recreation

  • Trojan Fitness and Wellness Center
    • Monday-Friday
    • 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
    • Closed Saturday and Sunday
  • Outdoor Pool
    • Monday-Friday
    • 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    • Closed Saturday and Sunday

Students must be enrolled in summer classes in order to access recreation facilities.

International Arts Center (IAC)

  • IAC Monday-Friday
    • 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Saturday
    • 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Sunday
    • Closed until August 16th

Admission is free to the public. The IAC will be closed May 23-25 for Memorial Day Weekend and July 3-5 for Independence Day Weekend.

Janice Hawkins Cultural Arts Park

The Janice Hawkins Cultural Arts Park is open 24/7, where you can visit the outside Terracotta Warrior exhibition.

Troy University Arboretum

The Arboretum is open seven days a week from sunrise until sunset. Admission is free.

Holidays and Administrative Leave

All of Troy University’s offices and departments will remain open during the summer with the exception of the following holidays:

  • Memorial Day: Monday, May 25
  • Juneteenth: Friday, June 19
  • Independence Day: Will be observed Friday, July 3
