TROY, Ala. (TROJANVISION) — One of Troy University’s latest dining options aims to offer fruit-based meals for students.
“It really is one of the few places for students who are living on campus to be able to go and get healthy food options,” said Emma Mitchell, a team member at Blenz.
Blenz Bowls prides itself on offering fresh, nutritious fruits and bowls for those seeking healthier on-campus options.
“Our motto is ‘eat good, feel good, do good,’ and I really think we stand for that,” said Elizabeth Odee, another team member at Blenz. “We encourage everyone to eat as healthy as they can and offer tons of healthy options and different flavors for everybody.”
Blenz also strives to provide a welcoming environment for students to come back to.

“Blenz is an awesome place to relax,” said freshman Laney Hinton, a Blenz regular. “The people here are amazing. It really brightens my day.”
“I recognize people every day,” Odee said. “I think it’s the atmosphere we provide that keeps them coming back. It’s so much fun to see people and say ‘hi’ again.”
Team members said the harmonious work culture is another defining characteristic of Blenz.
“We are a very tight-knit group,” Odee said. “We rely on each other and help each other out. We all just love each other a lot.”
Blenz opened in the fall of 2023.
