About 143 students will graduate during Troy University’s Dothan Campus Spring Commencement on May 21 at the Dothan Civic Center.
Commencement exercises begin at 3 p.m.
The keynote speaker is Danny Sharp, a broker for Coldwell Banker Commercial Alfred Saliba Realty and the current president of the Dothan Area Chamber Foundation. Sharp also serves as a commissioner with the Alabama Real Estate Commission.
Among Sharp’s many civic roles have been tenures as president of the Dothan Exchange Club, Dothan Rotary Club, and Dothan Rotary Children Foundation; chairman of the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce, Dothan by Design, ENVISION Steering Committee, and the annual Community Wide Prayer Breakfast; and director of the Dothan Area Food Bank, Girls Incorporated of Dothan, Dothan chapter of the American Cancer Society, and Catholic Social Services.
Sharp graduated from Dothan High School in 1970 and later earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama.
