Seventeen area high school students earned associate’s degrees during Troy University’s spring commencement, even before receiving their high school diplomas, thanks to the University’s Early College dual enrollment program.

Through TROY’s Early College dual enrollment program, students can receive high school and college credit at the same time from a wide range of courses. Classes can be completed online or on campus. Courses can satisfy TROY general education requirements and are designed to transfer to any college or university.

“Troy University is honored to celebrate 17 students who have chosen to thrive and pursue academic excellence,” said Dr. KeLeigh Pritchett, Senior Director of Specialized Enrollment. “Troy University’s Early College Program offers college level courses at the affordable rate of $33 per credit hour. These 17 students chose to take advantage of this opportunity and achieve such a remarkable honor at a young age. Our Early College team is thankful for high school teachers and administrators, as well as our outstanding Troy University professors, for supporting them as they worked towards their goals.”
