Troy University’s 2016 Homecoming Court and Maids were unveiled Wednesday night during the Trojans Volleyball match up against Tennessee.

Three juniors comprise the Maids and five seniors constitute the Homecoming Court, with the Homecoming Queen to be crowned during homecoming game festivities at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15 in Veterans Memorial Stadium when the Trojans take on the Georgia State Panthers.

Representing the junior class as maids are: Amy Russo, a broadcast journalism major from Pensacola, Fla.; Sierra Clark, an exercise science pre-health major from Birmingham; and Meredith Durden, a risk management insurance major from Montgomery.

The Homecoming Court is comprised of: Destiny Oliver, a global business marketing major from Dothan whose platform is the Boys and Girls Club of Pike County; Jordyn Elston, a broadcast journalism major from Birmingham whose platform is Happily Ever After, Promoting Youth Literacy; Callie Bennett, biomedical sciences major from Geneva whose platform is Juvenile Diabetes; Symone Shaw, a hospitality sport and tourism management major from Homewood whose platform is Suicide Awareness Voice of Education; and Broghan Freeland, a health and human services major from Prattville whose platform is Every Child Deserves a Home and Adoption Awareness.
