Registration is open for Troy University’s Summer Spectacular, which will give Wiregrass children an educational summer adventure.
The annual learning enrichment camp, open to children ages 4 through 12, takes place in Adams Hall at TROY’s Dothan Campus June 18-27 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. until noon.
Registration is on a first-come basis for $30 per week per child.
Troy University students majoring in education lead the annual four-week summer learning enrichment program. Summer Spectacular is a project-based learning program where students are involved in hands-on learning. Some projects last several days or weeks, while many are shorter projects.
This year’s theme is STEAM: Building a Solid Future. Three different rooms will be set up with different activities and projects.
The first week’s registration cost is due at registration. Children may attend one week or all four, but should indicate on the registration form which weeks they will be attending.
To register or for more information, email hicksc@troy.edu or erosa@troy.edu, or visit Adams Hall Room 300.
