Troy University will hold a virtual Worldwide Open House on Thursday, April 23, offering prospective students the opportunity to learn more about TROY in spite of the current restrictions in place due to COVID-19.
The University annually holds spring and fall open house events that include campus tours and sessions that enable prospective students to gain information on academic offerings, the admission process and financial aid opportunities. In March, University officials moved the Open House to an online-only event.
“Spring generally is an important time for high school students and others who are seeking to explore their college options,” said Buddy Starling, Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management. “COVID-19 has disrupted those in-person campus visits and events, but students still have the opportunity to learn more about TROY and to plan for their future. The TROY Worldwide Virtual Open House can be the first step towards a bright future, and we are pleased to be able to help our prospective students begin their journey on Thursday.”
Through Thursday’s event, prospective students can receive assistance in the areas of admissions and academic strategy for career development. Expert advisers will be available to help prospective students decide on a major, and answer questions about scholarships and financial aid or credit transfers.
The University’s application fee will be waived on Thursday for applications completed during the event.
