The Trojan Women’s Basketball team sweeps Georgia Southern with a win Saturday night.

Five different Trojans scored in double figures in an 82 to 69 victory over Georgia Southern on Saturday night in Trojan Arena.

The win secured a sweep over Georgia Southern after the team picked up a win over the Eagles Friday night.

Alexus Dye led the Trojans with her second double-double of the weekend with 16 points and 16 rebounds.

However after Dye saw an early exit and was fouled out in the fourth quarter it was Jasmine Robinson who took over for the Trojans scoring eight straight and a season-high 16 points.

“I definitely get the confidence from my team and my coaches,” said Robinson about her performance. “Just throughout my four years they taught me so much different scenarios and my I.Q. has grown definitely. So going through the course of the game I just realized what’s open just be patient and see who’s open and just make a play.”
