After an 0-2 road trip to Georgia, the Trojan soccer team returned to the home pitch and picked up a win over Appalachian State.

The Trojans defeated the Mountaineers 1-0 of the foot of Erin Bloomfield.

A goal in the 23rd minute from Bloomfield was the deciding factor in the match.

“I think we keep seeing a better and better version of Erin,” says Head Coach Nicole Waters. “She works incredibly hard in training and it’s turning over into the game. She read that pass and that’s just soccer smarts being a smart soccer player and she finds a way to score. She finds a way to score so got to get her on the field.”
