Caroline Clark was crowned Miss Troy University 2022 on Saturday.

Clark is a senior English major at TROY and the world of pageantry is nothing new to her.

“I do have a history of pageants,” says Clark. “I started competing when I was really young and I’ve always loved it. The getting dressed up, the getting to choose a platform and promote that to people that’s a really important part especially of this organization.”

Each contestant is required to have a social issue platform which is an issue they will focus on during their reign. The new Miss Troy University is passionate about her platform and ready to get to work. Clark’s platform is “Balancing the Scales: A Voice for Victims” and she aims to make a difference.

“I think my ultimate goal as Miss Troy University will be to make a change no matter if that’s with my platform or in some other way throughout our campus,” says Clark. “I just want to leave people feeling better about themselves.”
