Students got a step-by-step tutorial on the craft of sushi making from a Birmingham sushi instructor who guided the student chefs through the process.
“This was our first time ever hosting build your own sushi,” says UAC Public Relations Officer Catelyn Blackmon. “We had Birmingham Sushi Classes come in and teach us how to create our own unique sushi roll. We had different sauces that we can use. She taught us different things about different stuff that we can put in sushi. It was a really great event.”
