A shopping cart is normally used to hold your items while shopping at a grocery store however Wednesday afternoon TROY students were using carts to race one another.
Troy University sororities and fraternities formed teams of two to compete against each other for the best time in a shopping cart race in the Trojan Center parking lot.
“This event was a team event from each fraternity and sorority,” says Greek Week Committee Member Xavier Dejarnett. “You have two people participating. What we did we had a little obstacle course going down and through the midway point you would switch and you would switch your partner coming up through and it was a timed event so whoever got the fastest time wins.”
