The musical group Covert Ensemble performed a concert on the Troy University campus on of the few times the groups has performed together on the same continent.

The Covert Ensemble includes TROY music professor Dave Camwell and Czech saxophonist Katerina Pavlikova who normally perform together while in their separate countries.

“Covert Ensemble started in when we were in lockdown with with COVID,” says Camwell. “I thought doing some remote collaboration with people who inspired me would be a good and useful use of my time and really something fun to do as well.”

“One day he sent me a message, ‘Hey cool videos, could we make something together?’ and I said yes and that’s it,” says Pavlikova “And since then since that time we continue making this remote collaboration.”
