TROY, Ala. (TROJANVISION) — This year’s National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) week included a fan-favorite event: the annual NPHC step tease.

Wednesday night the NPHC showcased this year’s Step Tease.

“When I come to the step tease I know that we’re always going to have fun,” said sophomore Alesha Hardy. “It’s going to be a cultured event.”

This step tease was a part of this year’s NPHC Week.

“This event was just to welcome students,” said Sigma Gamma Rho Vice President Taj Brundidge. “Show them what NPHC is, show them what we’re about.”

During the step tease, sisters from Delta Sigma Theta, Sigma Gamma Rho and Alpha Kappa Alpha and brothers from Alpha Phi Alpha and Kappa Alpha Psi showed off their steps and skills.

Divine Nine sororities and fraternities weren’t the only ones showing off. The Troy Dance Team and The Sapphires also made an appearance.
