Trojan fans enjoy basketball watch party at Baumhower’s

TROY, Ala. (TROJANVISION) — Baumhower’s Victory Grille hosted a watch party for trojan basketball fans to attend, as they took on Arkansas State Redwolves.

Guests enjoyed buttery popcorn, food, souvenirs and a tight game.

Despite the loss, fans are still hopeful that the Trojans have a chance at the championship.

“I feel great,” said TROY fan Destiny Flowers. “I think that we do a really good chance at winning the sunbelt. I really hop we get another championship.”

A fan favorite player of the Trojan men’s basketball team is Spud, also known as Christyon Eugene.

“My favorite players is Tayton Conerway and Christyon Eugene because they show leadership on and off the court and their just all around really good friends,” Flowers said.

“Spud, the way he acts on the court and off the court, the way he interacts with people just an all-around good guy,” said TROY fan Spencer Shoaf.

“Spud Eugene, I just love him,” said Alumni Director Faith Bird. “I love everything about him. He’s good on and off the court and he’s a true leader.”

After Coach Scott Cross‘ recent 300th win, fans are confident he’ll lead the Trojans to victory.
