TROY sweeps Harvard in weekend baseball action

TROY, Ala. (TROJANVISION) — TROY’s baseball team welcomed Harvard to Riddle-Pace Field this past weekend with a barrage of offense, sweeping the three game series and tallying two mercy rule wins in the process.

“I thought we really just executed our stuff throughout the weekend” said Head Coach Skylar Meade. “We never let them get comfortable.”

The Trojans managed to out score the Crimson 29-7 throughout the series via dominant hitting and pitching.

“Regardless of what we do, they’ll be prepared come Tuesday night at 6:05,” Meade said.

The Trojans have little time to rest as it’s back to the grind this week as they take on Kent State in a two-game series spanning from Tuesday to Wednesday at Riddle-Pace Field. First pitch Tuesday is at 6 p.m. and Wednesday at 4 p.m.
