TROY, Ala. (TROJANVISION) — Although excitement is mounting in Troy, fans across the country are showing their support for the Trojans ahead of the Super Regional.
It’s been eight years since Anna Kate and Zane Vickery last lived in Troy, but that hasn’t stopped them from not only supporting the Trojans, but also raising the next generation of Trojan fans.
“We love to sing the fight song,” Zane said. “We sing it after every score.
“Every time something good happens or if I make any kind of loud noise, our oldest, Saylor, will say, ‘Are we going to sing? Is this it? Did we do good?'”

Even better, the Vickerys are repping Trojan Nation while in enemy territory.
“We have worn our Troy gear all week long,” Anna Kate told TrojanVision.
“The problem with wearing it here in Little Rock, though, if it says Troy, it’s fine, but if it’s just a shirt that says Trojans, lots of them [Little Rock residents] assume Little Rock Trojans, and we have to quickly correct them,” Zane explained.
Four hours away, Nick Brooks has been battling dedicated fans to get tickets to the Super Regional. Regardless of what happens, Brooks plans to do his own part to help the Troy Trojans rise over the Trojans of Little Rock.
“If all else fails, I’ll be sitting in the bleachers in in left field, giving Little Rock’s left fielder some hard times, and hopefully, hopefully, catching a home run ball from the Trojans.”
Closer to home in Dothan, diehard Trojan sports fan Justin McNelly plans to join the party in the outfield.
“Seeing them making this historic moment, I told my wife we can’t miss it. I was like, if we just go up to the campus and just watch it from afar, we’ve got to be there.”
With the Super Regional now less than 24 hours away, Trojan fans are across the country are showing what it means to be a Trojan nation.
