TROY, Ala. (TROJANVISION) — In this week’s College Football 27 simulation, Troy dominated both sides of the ball in a 17-0 beating of Alabama State.

Goose Crowder would be the Player of the Game, as the sixth year quarterback threw for 195 yards and two touchdowns. Howard Kinchen would be the recipient of both touchdown passes, as he would finish the simulation with four catches for 39 yards.

Along with Kinchen, four other Trojans had double digit receiving yards, those being Mojo Dortch (53 yards), Jackson Worley (39), TJ Lott (30), and Gavin Griffin (12). Griffin would also lead the team in rushing yard with 69.

The Hornets would come close to scoring twice, but would fail both times. In the first quarter, Alabama State would kick a 54-yard field goal that would go wide left. Later in the fourth, the Hornets would be on Troy’s 13-yard line, but would turn the ball over on downs after a failed 4th down attempt.

The only non-touchdown score of the game for Troy would come at the end of the second half on a chip shot field goal from 19 yards out.
