The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) selected Troy University as the host site for its regional workshop, held on Friday, January 17. The event took place in Jones Hall, the newly opened home of Troy University’s College of Health Sciences, marking a significant milestone for both the university and nursing education leaders across the region.

The workshop focused on training peer evaluators, providing them with the tools and knowledge necessary to conduct accreditation visits for nursing programs nationwide. Attendees engaged in sessions, discussions, and networking opportunities, strengthening their ability to uphold ACEN’s rigorous standards in nursing education.

Troy University’s selection as the host site underscores its commitment to excellence in nursing education. The state-of-the-art Jones Hall provided an ideal setting, equipped with modern classrooms and cutting-edge technology designed to support future healthcare professionals.
