On March 25, Troy University will host the Spring 2023 Trojan Day, an event that allows prospective TROY students and their families experience some of what TROY has to offer.

“Trojan Day is a day for students to see what it may be like as a TROY student,” said Korrie Lynn Williamson, senior director of enrollment services.

Trojan Day will kick off with a 9 a.m. check-in and a browse session, featuring not only academic departments but also some extracurricular organizations and Greek life organizations. After the browse session, Chancellor Dr. Jack Hawkins, Jr. will address the guests during the Admissions session.

From there, students will be released to campus tours and then have lunch. Additionally, all attendees will receive complimentary baseball tickets to the Trojans’ game against University of Louisiana Monroe, which starts at 3 p.m. at Riddle-Pace field.

There will also be an opportunity for attendees to tour some fraternity and sorority houses after lunch, with a Greek life information session taking place.

“I think it’s important for students to be able to picture themselves as a TROY student,” Williamson said. “Seeing yourself there and knowing if you feel comfortable and confident is important.”
