TROY, Ala. (TROJANVISION) — Excitement is growing as the start of the 2024 football season is set to kick off this Saturday when Troy takes on Nevada.
Speaking of excitement for the season’s first game, some Trojans may also be excited about the football season on their game systems.
College football has returned, and EA Sports released the College Football 25 video game series. Once again, we get to take a look using their special simulation technology to predict what might happen in the upcoming games.
The simulation predicts the Troy Trojans will narrowly defeat the Nevada Wolf Pack 17 – 20.

Along with the Trojan’s victory, #9 Goose Crowder, the starting quarterback for Troy, was rewarded with “Player of the Game,” a title given to the most valuable player on the field based on their performance.
The prediction has Crowder throwing two touchdowns for 215 yards. Crowder also completed 69.2% of his passes which is an incredible stat line worthy of the Player of the Game by a long shot.
Trojan fans can only hope these stats prove accurate for the season opener. That game will take place on Saturday, Aug. 31. Kick-off is set for 6 p.m.
